TANYA STEPHENS to play London’s Jazz Café

Jamaican reggae singer TANYA STEPHENS has revealed she will performing an intimate show in London this summer.

The show takes place on 11 August at the Jazz Café in North London with tickets priced £22.50 in advance.

The top vocalist, famed for “It's a Pity” and “Yuh Nuh Ready Fi Dis Yet”, is set to release a new record on her own label Tarantula Records.

A UK tour featuring MARCIA GRIFFITHS and friends which was due to kick off today has been “postponed”, according to Academy Music Group. 

A new date is expected to be announced in due course.

Reggae singer MARCIA GRIFFITHS has announced a four-date tour around the UK this May featuring some big acts from Jamaica.

The show will feature BOB ANDY, JUDY MOWATT and TANYA STEPHENS as well as special guest RICHIE SPICE.

They will be backed by the 809 BAND and the event will be hosted by DADDY ERNIE and DJ DADDY FRIDGE.

GRIFFITHS will take fans on a live musical journey through her half century in the business with the finest in classic ska and reggae alongside an all-star line-up backed by the PERFECT PURPLE band.

JAH VINCI added to Reggae Sumfest line-up

Dancehall musician JAH VINCI has been confirmed to perform at Reggae Sumfest 2011 later this month.

In a statement he said:

"The festival is certainly the biggest platform in the Caribbean for a reggae artiste to showcase his craft and this will be my first opportunity to work a complete set as a solo act, and I will not disappoint my fans"
