UB40 reveals big UK tour in October

Birmingham reggae band UB40 has announced the details of a big tour around the UK this October.

Tickets are now on sale for some of the shows and more will be available from this Friday.

UB40 to play Coast 2 Coast festival

Birmingham reggae band UB40 will headline the Coast 2 Coast festival this summer in North Wales. 

Coast 2 Coast takes place on 30 July at the Events Arena in Rhyl. Tickets are priced £22.50 in advance.

UB40 to headline Watchet Festival

Watchet Festival has added UB40 to its fantastic line-up for 2016, its 10th anniversary.

The Birmingham band will perform hits from across its 70 million album selling, 38-year career.

West Somerset’s biggest music festival takes place on 26-28 August and also features performances by DREADZONE and THE NEVILLE STAPLE BAND.

Birmingham reggae band UB40 has announced it will return to Cornwall to play Falmouth's Event Square this summer.

The big show takes place on 26 June and tickets are priced from £35 in advance.

UB40 feat Ali, Astro & Mickey to play Westonbirt

Birmingham reggae band UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue will perform live at Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire this summer.

The legendary trio will be on stage on 18 June with an eight-piece band including a brass section.

Special guests for the show are reggae/dub band RADIO RIDDLER.

UB40 lines up UK tour dates in October

Birmingham reggae band UB40 has confirmed 13 more live dates around the UK this October.

The autumn leg of the band’s ‘Getting Over The Storm’ tour starts on 2 October in Bexhill and ends up in Cardiff on 24 October.

By that time UB40 will have completed 90 UK shows and performed to more than 170,000 people since the tour started in March 2014.

Interview: Brian Travers of UB40

ReggaeChapter.com caught up with founding member of UB40 Brian Travers to find out about his take on the current reggae scene, songwriting, recording and how he deals with two versions of UB40 being out on the road in 2015.

Following a long journey back to the UK from a gig in Italy the saxophonist was upbeat and excited about heading back out on the road in May and June around the UK.
