Top 10 New Year’s Eve reggae nights in the UK 2014

With six weeks to go until 2015, ReggaeChapter.com has selected 10 reggae or reggae-influenced nights happening around the UK on New Year’s Eve.

In no particular order, they are:

Reggae acts added to Tramlines Festival

2Tone ska band THE BEAT and nine-piece reggae act THE DROP are among the latest additions to the Tramlines Festival which takes place later this month.

The final line-up addition includes more than 50 new acts added to the bill.

DJ TODDLA T has also selected DNAË and THE INDIGO SOUND PROJECT to perform on the Saturday night main stage.

THE DROP announces Jazz Café album party

London-based reggae band THE DROP has announced the details of its debut album launch party at the Jazz Café in October next year.

The nine-piece band will take to the stage on 23 October 2014 in Camden, with tickets priced at £10 in advance.

YELLOWMAN lines up shows in Brighton and Glasgow

Jamaican dancehall master YELLOWMAN will perform in the UK next year with initial shows lined up in Brighton and Glasgow.

YELLOWMAN will perform with the SAGITTARIUS BAND at Brighton’s Concorde 2 alongside special guests THE DROP; while in Glasgow he will appear with his band and Jamaican reggae artist DILLINGER.

THE SKINTS live at the Fleece in Bristol

East London reggae band THE SKINTS kicked off their 'Part & Parcel Tour' last night (2 October) with a big show at The Fleece in Bristol. Fan-filmed video of the part of the show can be viewed below.
