MELBOURNE SKA ORCHESTRA lines up London date

Australian ska sensation the MELBOURNE SKA ORCHESTRA will perform in the capital this summer.

In association with the London International Ska Festival, the 30-plus piece orchestra will perform with support from PAMA INTERNATIONAL and DJ NANKER PHELGE.

The show takes place on 5 August at The Garage in London.

BOB ANDY to headline London ska fest day two

Legendary Jamaican artist BOB ANDY will headline day two of the London International Ska Festival 2016.

ANDY will be performing songs from the 'Golden Era' of reggae music with tunes like “Too Experienced”, “I've Got To Go Back Home” and “Young, Gifted & Black”.

The singer was due to perform at the 2011 festival, but due to illness couldn't come.

Following a four-year hiatus PAMA INTERNATIONAL are back with a brand new line-up, singles and their first album back - Soulfire.

New additions to the Trenchtown District of Boomtown Fair 2014 can now be revealed, including HOLLIE COOK, PAMA INTERNATIONAL, LAID BLAK, BY THE RIVERS and JUS NOW.

Other new additions include DIGITAL NIYA BINGHI, TALISMAN, BLACK STAR DUB COLLECTIVE, BABYLON CIRCUS, VOODOO GLOW SKULLS and ONLYJOE.

Latest London Intl Ska Fest 2014 addition: THE BIONIC RATS

The organisers behind the London International Ska Festival have confirmed THE BIONIC RATS as the latest addition to the 2014 line-up.

THE BIONIC RATS formed out of the ashes of Dublin reggae outfit KINGSATIVA and mix the rhythms of ska, 2Tone, reggae and rocksteady into their own “special brew of Jamaican heart and Irish soul”.
