THE SELECTER reveals UK tour dates in 2016

2Tone ska revivalist band THE SELECTER has announced a number of shows around the UK in the early months of 2016.

The show on 26 February 2016 follows a big tour of the UK throughout November and December later this year.

THE SELECTER drops new album Subculture

Coventry 2Tone act THE SELECTER has released its brand new studio record Subculture.

The rhythm-packed album was recorded and produced by saxophonist Neil Pyzer and expertly mixed by PRINCE FATTY.

The 12-track album comes hot on the heels of the Made In Britain and String Theory albums since singer Pauline Black reformed the band five years ago.

2Tone ska band THE SELECTER has put out the official music video for “Box Fresh”, the first single from forthcoming album Subculture.

This is one of THE SELECTER’s first official music video releases for nearly 30 years. Neil Pyzer recorded and produced the song, while PRINCE FATTY mixed it.

THE SELECTER to headline Watchet Festival

2Tone ska band THE SELECTER has been revealed as the Friday night headliner at Watchet Festival this summer.

The three-day bank holiday festival at Parsonage Farm in West Somerset takes place on 28-30 August with tickets priced at just £65.

THE SELECTER’s new studio album, Subculture, is due out this year following its 2013 release String Theory.

DANDY LIVINGSTONE & THE SELECTER for Skamouth 2015

The organisers of the Skamouth weekend have revealed DANDY LIVINGSTONE and THE SELECTER will perform at their 2015 event.

The festival takes place at the Vauxhall Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth on 27-30 March 2015.

THE SELECTER reveals Subculture Tour 2015

2Tone ska band THE SELECTER has announced the details of a big tour in February and March 2015 around the UK.

The 22-date ‘Subculture Tour 2015’ kicks off in Gloucester and winds up at KOKO in Camden, followed by a special gig at Warwick University's Copper Rooms in Coventry.

The tour will be in support of a brand new 12-track studio album, called Subculture due for release in February 2015.

THE TUTS will be supporting the band on all dates.

Two founding members of THE SPECIALS - NEVILLE STAPLE and HORACE PANTER - are among the latest additions to the Godiva Festival in Coventry.

The free festival takes place on 4-6 July at the War Memorial Park in the West Midlands.

Mixing ska, reggae, rock and punk, the “Too Much Pressure” hit-makers will be performing on one of the stages, to be confirmed at a later date.

THE SELECTER reveals full UK tour

Legendary 2Tone ska band THE SELECTER has announced a 25-date tour of the UK kicking off in early 2014.

The “Too Much Pressure 2014 UK Tour”, which celebrates 35 years of the band, will see the group perform its entire debut album Too Much Pressure alongside other well-known SELECTER classics.

Since the group re-formed they have never played the album in its entirety, so this is a present to all their fans who have stood by them for the past three years and supported their new music.
