Next ROOTIKAL night line-up revealed

The next ROOTIKAL session featuring ABA SHANTI I, VIBRONICS, GLADDY WAX and EARL GATESHEAD is set to take place in London this May.

The event is on 8 May across two rooms at Corsica Studios, Elephant & Castle, with tickets priced at £6 in advance.

Date set for new CAPITAL LETTERS 12” vinyl

British reggae band CAPITAL LETTERS will release a brand new track from their upcoming new album this November.

The David Hill/Nick Manasseh-produced track “Wolf” will be released on 24 November on Sugar Shack Records on limited edition 12” vinyl and download.

DENNIS ALCAPONE & WINSTON FRANCIS line up Studio One show

ROOTIKAL will next month hosts its annual salute to Jamaican record label Studio One, featuring live PAs from DENNIS ALCAPONE and WINSTON FRANCIS.

WINSTON FRANCIS started his recording career at Studio One in the late 1960s with tracks like “Mr Fix-It”, “Groovy Situation” and later “Let's Go To Zion”.

The ROOTIKAL crew are saluting 50 years of Jamaican record label Studio One with live PAs from WINSTON FRANCIS and DENNIS ALCAPONE.
