LITTLE ROY gets ready for Glasgow show

Jamaican reggae artist LITTLE ROY and EARL GATESHEAD, supported by BASS WARRIOR SOUND SYSTEM, will perform live and direct in Glasgow this month.

The session takes place on 22 January at the Rum Shack with tickets priced at £10 in advance.

Doune The Rabbit Hole adds reggae stage

EARL GATESHEAD and SAMSON SOUNDS are among the recently added acts to Scotland’s Doune The Rabbit Hole festival next month.

The small-scale music and art festival takes place on 21-23 August at the Cardross Estate in Stirlingshire, Scotland. 

Weekend tickets cost £88 in advance.

Love of Dub session set for Valentine’s Day

The Black Swan in Bristol will host a special Valentine’s session next month featuring SOOM T and GARDNA, TUFF SCOUT and EARL GATESHEAD, among others.

The Love of Dub night takes place on 14 February and also includes top acts like Cape Town's 7FT SOUNDSYSTEM, DUB SMUGGLERS, BATALA SAMBA COLLECTIVE, DERW THA DAMAJA and FRESHLY BAKED.

Iconic white rum Wray & Nephew will next month host the Jamaica Rum Tings takeover of the Britannia pub in East London.

The ‘Wray’s Tavern’ event takes place on 3 August for one day only in the build-up to Jamaican independence day on 6 August.

Early bird tickets on sale for One Love Festival 2013; initial acts revealed

Tickets are now on sale for the UK’s number one reggae and dub camping event – the One Love Festival.

The 2013 event is set to take place on 16-18 August at a secret location in the south of England. Early bird tickets are priced at £99 for adults and £50 for children, including camping.
