American rapper SNOOP LION, more popularly known as SNOOP DOGG, will perform shows in Bristol and Leeds next month.

The organisers of the Another World Festival have cancelled this year's event due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

SNOOP DOGG, occasionally known as SNOOP LION, MISTA JAM and MS DYNAMITE were among those due to play the festival this weekend (8-10 August) in Buckinghamshire.

LADY SAW slams SNOOP LION in Gleaner interview

Jamaican reggae singer LADY SAW has called out SNOOP LION, insisting overseas acts are taking over dancehall and reggae music.

In an interview with the Jamaica Gleaner the queen of dancehall was critical of the rapper’s dabbling into reggae.

"Snoop, mi like yuh as a rapper, but low dancehall ting, low reggae ting…mi no like yuh as no Snoop Lion. Weh yuh get lion from? Not your business, leave it alone,” she said.

US rapper SNOOP LION met with Rolling Stone magazine last week where he elaborated on his side of the fallout with BUNNY WAILER.

During the interview SNOOP LION called WAILER an “old ignorant-ass ni**a” and attacked his “negative energy” following the reggae legend's questioning of his conversion to Rastafarianism.

SNOOP LION’s ‘Reincarnated’ out now in the UK: Full screenings

Andy Capper's new documentary ‘Reincarnated’ about SNOOP DOGG’s spiritual journey into SNOOP LION is now out in selected cinemas across the UK.

In the film, he travels to Jamaica in the company of producer DIPLO to make a reggae record in Kingston, also entitled Reincarnated.

BUNNY WAILER slams 'fraudulent' SNOOP LION

Jamaican music legend BUNNY WAILER has accused SNOOP DOGG of faking his SNOOP LION persona to sell records.

The former WAILERS drummer claimed that the forthcoming SNOOP LION album Reincarnated and a documentary of the same name are "fraudulent" and has threatened legal action.

The Guardian has published a feature on New York-based producer DRE SKULL looking at his career and recent work with VYBZ KARTEL, SNOOP LION and PUSHA T.

US singer SNOOP LION has unveiled a video for the track “La, La, La” - his first since changing direction from rapper to reggae artist.

SNOOP LION releases new single 'La La La'

US rapper SNOOP DOGG, now known as SNOOP LION, has teamed up with producer Diplo (via the Major Lazer project) to release a new reggae single, titled “La La La”.

The track is off an upcoming album of reggae songs, Reincarnated, which will be released later this year on the Vice label.

Earlier this year Snoop said he would be "re-born" on his next album and that despite being 11 albums into his career, his fans have yet to see the real him.
