The organisers of SUNRISE FESTIVAL have announced the initial acts of the 2013 event, including DUB PISTOLS, THE BEAT and THE SKINTS.

The festival runs from 30 May-2 June and will take place at a secret venue near Bath and Frome in Somerset.


WATCHET FESTIVAL announces new main stage act: THE SKINTS

The organisers of WATCHET MUSIC FESTIVAL have announced THE SKINTS as the latest addition to the Parsonage Farm event in Somerset.

The independent not-for-profit festival takes place on 23-25 August and the London-based reggae band will be performing on the main stage on 24 August.

The organisers behind BOOMTOWN FAIR have announced a huge indoor festival in Bristol celebrating the official half-way point between its annual summer fairs.

The Boomtown Equinox Party takes place on 22 March 2013 with an impressive line-up of acts, including THE SKINTS, GENTLEMAN’S DUB CLUB, ZION TRAIN and CONGO NATTY.

Q&A session with EASY STAR ALL-STARS: Michael Goldwasser caught up with record producer Michael Goldwasser, the musical mastermind behind legendary reggae tribute act EASY STAR ALL-STARS, for a chat about the group’s upcoming Thrillah tour, his Anglophile tendencies and what keeps him going forward.

Over the years Goldwasser has been responsible for the concept, production, arranging and sourcing of musicians for all four EASY STARS albums.


THE SKINTS added to THE BEAT show in Birmingham

Rising East London reggae band THE SKINTS will join 2Tone legends THE BEAT when they perform a homecoming gig at Birmingham Town Hall on 15 December.

Tickets are £19.50 for stalls standing and £22.50 for circle reserved seating.
