Bestival reveals Reggae Roots stage

The organisers of the UK’s Bestival have announced a brand new stage for the 2014 event called Reggae Roots.

The new stage will be dedicated to the myriad flavours of reggae from ska, rocksteady and ragga to dub, dancehall and junglist riddims.

Bestival regulars REGGAE ROAST, TAYO and JIM8TRACK will be residents throughout the weekend.


DUB PISTOLS reveal 'White Lines' tour dates

The DUB PISTOLS have returned with their sixth long player, White Lines, and an accompanying tour of the UK throughout November.

Speaking about the new record, band founder Barry Ashworth said: “It’s about the number of white lines we see on motorways and at airports when we’re travelling around all the time.”


Top 10 reggae New Year’s Eve parties in the UK 2012

Red Bull Culture Clash comes to Motion Bristol

The Red Bull regional tour reaches Bristol later this month (12 October) with a big show at Motion, Temple Meads.

Capacity is limited due to the set-up of the show, including four sound systems, and tickets cost just £5.

ReggaeChapter podcast host RICHIE BLOOD has done a remix of the RODNEY P track "Riddim Killa" with the Sleng Teng Riddim and called it “Sleng Teng Killer”.


DUB PISTOLS new album details revealed: 'Worshipping The Dollar'

DUB PISTOLS have set a date for 2 June to release their new studio album Worshipping The Dollar.

The London-based band’s fifth studio record follows the 2009 album Rum & Coke and features the return of RODNEY P along with guest appearances from LINDY LAYTON, reggae band RED STAR LION and DAN BOWSKILL.

An official album launch show will take place at the Electric Brixton in London on 11 May.
