Scottish reggae/pop musician FINLEY QUAYE has announced a number of dates around the UK in the months ahead.

FINLEY QUAYE lines up 2015 Bristol show

Scottish jazz and reggae musician FINLEY QUAYE has lined up a show in Bristol for April next year.

The gig takes place on 3 April 2015 at the Marble Factory, which is part of the Motion complex, and tickets cost £12.50 in advance.

FINLEY QUAYE declared bankrupt

Reggae artist FINLEY QUAYE has been declared bankrupt after being hit with a tax bill for £383,000.

As reported in the Scotsman QUAYE faced the demand after HMRC went to court to recover the cash; however, he failed to turn up for the High Court hearing in London.

FINLEY QUAYE gets 225 hours for racially aggravated assault

Scottish reggae artist FINLEY QUAYE has been ordered to carry out 225 hours of unpaid work for a “racially aggravated assault” on a woman in Edinburgh.

QUAYE, who was also given a supervision order for 18 months, had earlier admitted spitting on a woman's face and punching her last October.

Arrest warrant issued for FINLEY QUAYE

A warrant has been granted for the arrest of British reggae singer FINLEY QUAYE after he failed to appear for his “racially aggravated assault” sentencing.

The singer was due in Edinburgh before Sheriff Fiona Reith QC but did not appear. His sentence had been deferred because he had failed to pay his lawyer after claiming bankruptcy.

QUAYE had earlier admitted spitting on a woman's face and punching her in Edinburgh last October.

FINLEY QUAYE sentencing delayed after he failed to pay lawyer

Scottish musician FINLEY QUAYE, who carried out a “racially aggravated assault” on a woman, will have his sentencing delayed after he failed to pay his lawyer.

The reggae singer had earlier admitted spitting on a woman's face and punching her in Leith Walk in Edinburgh last year.

The case was deferred until 5 October when his lawyer withdrew from the case after telling Edinburgh Sheriff Court he had not been paid.

FINLEY QUAYE charged with assaulting a woman

Scottish reggae singer FINLEY QUAYE has been charged with spitting at and hitting a woman in Edinburgh last year.

The “racially aggravated attack” involved the 38-year-old singer who has been charged with striking Jobely Flores in Leith Walk in October.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged he repeatedly spat on her face and hit her on the head, according to the BBC.
