Legends Of Reggae to hit UK in May

GYPTIAN, QUEEN IFRICA, KEN BOOTHE, LEROY SIBBLES and CHAKA DEMUS & PLIERS will perform live in the UK this summer as part of the Legends Of Reggae tour.

Some of reggae’s most legendary artists will be in the UK this summer for the ‘Icons Of Reggae part 3’ Manchester Carnival launch party.

The impressive line-up is set to feature JOHN HOLT, FREDDIE MCGREGOR, BARRINGTON LEVY, KEN BOOTHE and JANET KAY.


The latest addition to the London Intl Ska Fest: KEN BOOTHE

Jamaican superstar KEN BOOTHE returns to the London International Ska Festival with a headline performance at Dingwalls in Camden Town.

The Easter Sunday show takes place on the fourth day of the festival (31 March) where BOOTHE will be joined by 100 MEN starring MIK WHITNALL and a DJ set from POTATO 5.


Rhythm Festivals scrapped: 'glitches and domino effect' blamed

The UK’s Rhythm Festivals 2012 has been cancelled after a whole series of glitches and the domino effect put a stop to the show going ahead.

The three-pronged festival was due to be held over the August bank holiday weekend (24-26 August) at Mansion House near Biggleswade in Bedfordshire.

Rhythm Festivals was set to offer a line-up of Rhythm Folk, Rhythm Blues, and Rhythm Roots plus comedy and fringe events.
