Top reggae and dub acts revealed for Solfest

DREADZONE and ZION TRAIN are among the first acts confirmed for Solfest which returns to Cumbria this summer.

Solfest, which also includes RESONATORS and IRATION STEPPAS, takes place on the bank holiday over 26-28 August at Tarnside Farm near Aspatria. 

Tickets are priced from £89 for the weekend.

DUB JUDAH & IRATION STEPPAS line up TEACHINGS IN DUB

DUB JUDAH, mixing and performing live, will feature alongside IRATION STEPPAS SOUNDYSTEM and MURRAY MAN at Bristol’s next TEACHINGS IN DUB session.

The night takes place on 17 October at the Trinity Centre with tickets priced at £10 in advance.

For the first time at Bristol Dub Club, Leeds’ legendary IRATION STEPPAS SOUND SYSTEM will be playing ina 'Year 3000 Style' meeting with Bristol’s culture defenders PAPPA ROOTS SOUND SYSTEM.

New additions to United Nations Of Dub Weekender 2014

The line-up for the United Nations Of Dub Weekender, which takes place at Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park in March next year, is growing with a number of recent sound system and selector announcements.

The North Wales event will be held on 28-30 March 2014 and will feature five arenas of dub, reggae, roots and bass music.

Warehouse Project will not take place in full in 2014

The Warehouse Project, a series of dance music events in Manchester, will not run its usual full programme in 2014.

The series takes a break for one year following a death at one of this year's events.

Warehouse Project line-up revealed: LEE PERRY, DAVID RODIGAN & MAJOR LAZER

The Warehouse Project has announced its initial line-up for 2013 including performances from LEE “SCRATCH” PERRY, DAVID RODIGAN and MAJOR LAZER, among many others.

The Warehouse Project takes place at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, and offers up 15 weeks of music from 27 September to 1 January 2014, with tickets priced from £20 to £28.50 dependant on the event.

One Love 2013 line-up announced: CONGO NATTY, IJAHMAN LEVI & SISTER NANCY

The UK’s top reggae and dub event, the One Love Festival, has revealed the first acts to play their 2013 edition featuring CONGO NATTY, IJAHMAN LEVI and SISTER NANCY.

The festival takes place on 16-18 August 2013 at a new 122 acre site just 20 minutes from central London - Damyns Hall Aerodrome in Upminster Essex.

Early bird tickets on sale for One Love Festival 2013; initial acts revealed

Tickets are now on sale for the UK’s number one reggae and dub camping event – the One Love Festival.

The 2013 event is set to take place on 16-18 August at a secret location in the south of England. Early bird tickets are priced at £99 for adults and £50 for children, including camping.

Teachings in Dub line up revealed: BLACKBOARD JUNGLE v IRATION STEPPAS

The next chapter of Teachings in Dub has now been confirmed for 19 October with two big sounds at the Trinity Centre in Bristol.

For the first time ever in the city, the No. 1 French sound BLACKBOARD JUNGLE will meet the legendary IRATION STEPPAS.

Tickets are priced at £10 and the night runs from 10pm until 5am.
