Skabour Festival line-up revealed

The line-up can now be revealed for Folkestone's Skabour Festival including THE ENGLISH BEAT and RHODA DAKER.

The ska and reggae festival takes place on 16-18 September in and around the Grand Burstin Hotel.

MACKA B to play VegFest Bristol

British reggae artist MACKA B will perform live at VegFest Bristol this May.

The show takes place on 22 May at the Amphitheatre & Waterfront Square in Bristol with tickets priced £5-8.

MACKA B follows the Rastafari ital diet and is also a vegan.

Late last year the Midlands singer put out an album called Never Played A 45 on VP Records.

Jamaican music pioneer LEE “SCRATCH” PERRY will headline the One Love Festival in the UK this summer.

MACKA B lines up 2016 show in Cardiff

British reggae artist MACKA B will perform with a full live band in the Welsh capital early next year.

The gig, which features support from SUN I TAFARI, takes place on 26 February 2016 at The Globe in Cardiff.

In 2012 MACKA B put out an album called Change The World.

TWINKLE BROTHERS add Brighton to tour

The TWINKLE BROTHERS will appear live and direct from Jamaica later this year at a show in Brighton.

The bank holiday special also features MACKA B and THE ROOTS RAGGA BAND, Brighton’s SAMSARA, UNITY HI-FI, and Roots Garden Records featuring LEROY HORNS and guest MCs.

Top UK reggae artist MACKA B and THE ROOTS RAGGA BAND have moved their upcoming Jazz Café show back one day to 16 July.

The gig at Camden’s famous jazz venue was originally due to take place on 17 July.

The Midlands singer’s gig takes place on 4 April at Esquires with tickets priced at £12 in advance.

Seminal punk/reggae outfit RUTS DC has been confirmed as the first act for Bristol VegFest 2014.

The group will headline the main stage at The Amphitheatre, on Bristol's harbourside, on 24 May.

UK reggae artist MACKA B, backed by THE ROOTS RAGGA BAND, performed last night (6 February) at the Bath Komedia as part of a BOB MARLEY birthday celebration.

Brainwave Productions put on the Westcountry show that also featured local band LARGO EMBARGO and the MESSENJAH YOUTHS sound system.
