ANTHONY B drug charge dropped

US authorities have exonerated Jamaican singer ANTHONY B of a 2013 drug-related charge.

Back in 2013 ANTHONY B spent five days in a Georgia prison after he was arrested along with nine members of his band and road crew following a ‘window tint’ violation.

According to local reports five ounces of marijuana and US$7,900 were found in the vehicle, and all 10 were charged for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

BoomTown TrenchTown District revealed

STEPHEN MARLEY, SOJA and BARRINGTON LEVY are among the latest additions to this year’s BoomTown Fair TrenchTown District.

The festival takes place on 13-16 August at the Matterley Estate, near Winchester in Hampshire. Tier three tickets are priced at £155 for the weekend.

ANTHONY B to play Brixton in April

Jamaican singer ANTHONY B will perform live in South London later this year alongside JAH 9, YAMI BOLO and ADDIS PABLO.

The ‘Kulchasplash’ event takes place on 6 April at the Electric Brixton and tickets cost £25 in advance.

In 2012 ANTHONY B put out an album called Freedom Fighter on Irievibration Records.

ANTHONY B cancels European tour

Jamaican artist ANTHONY B has apologised to fans after cancelling all the dates on his March-May European tour.

The performer was forced to cancel the shows on his ‘Staying Alive Tour’ due to legal and immigration issues.

ANTHONY B released from US jail after drugs bust

Jamaican reggae singer ANTHONY B, real name Keith Anthony Blair, was yesterday released from jail in Georgia, USA, just five days after being arrested for drug-related charges.

On 27 January state police pulled over the artist and several members of his band and road crew for a “window tint” violation on Interstate 75 in Houston County.

As feared all of ANTHONY B’s European tour dates throughout October and November have been postponed until March and April 2013.

The reggae singer collapsed on stage at a Dallas nightclub on 6 October and will need at least two months recuperation before hitting the road again.

Jamaican singer ANTHONY B has been released from the Methodist Dallas Medical Centre in Texas after being admitted there on 6 October.

The reggae performer collapsed during a live show at a Dallas nightclub after suffering from dehydration and exhaustion.

ANTHONY B hospitalised in the US

Jamaican reggae singer ANTHONY B has been hospitalised in the US after collapsing shortly following a live performance in Dallas, Texas.

As reported in the Jamaica Observer the “Original Fire Man from Trelawny” has been at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center since Saturday and is awaiting an official diagnosis from doctors.

According to his publicist he collapsed at 4:30am on 6 October after performing in a Dallas night club.

Hot on the heels of a storming Lambeth Country Show headline performance ANTHONY B will be back in Brixton next month for a show at The Electric.

The gig is set to take place on 28 October from 7:30pm until midnight and tickets are priced at £18.
