Jamaican vocalist U-ROY will perform again in London this summer with a special show alongside Leicester reggae band BY THE RIVERS.
The show takes place on 5 July at the 100 Club on Oxford Street with tickets priced £17.50 in advance.
In 1991 U-ROY put out an album called True Born African, produced by MAD PROFESSOR.
Leicester ska and reggae band BY THE RIVERS has announced an eight-date tour around the UK this October.

Top ska bands THE BEAT, BY THE RIVERS and CHAINSKA BRASSIKA are among the latest additions to the Larmer Tree Festival this summer.
The new acts join previously announced headliner and Jamaican music legend JIMMY CLIFF.
The festival takes place on 15-19 July at Larmer Tree Gardens in Tollard Royal, Wiltshire. Tickets cost £240 for five days.

British ska band THE SPECIALS performed a long-overdue gig in Gloucestershire last night as part of a 15-date tour of the UK. Fan-filmed footage of “Monkey Man” can be seen below.
The Coventry band reformed in 2009 and had, up until now, kept fans in the West waiting more than 30 years for a local show.
The gig took place at Cheltenham Racecourse and was also something of a homecoming for guitarist Lynval Golding who grew up in Gloucester.
