MATISYAHU agrees to play Rototom Sunsplash

Jewish-American reggae singer MATISYAHU has re-accepted his performance slot at Spanish festival Rototom Sunsplash after being kicked out and then asked back by the organisers.

Earlier this week MATISYAHU was booted off the Rototom Sunsplash line-up after the artist failed to respond to requests to appear in a video endorsing Palestine.

Spanish reggae festival invites MATISYAHU back

Rototom Sunsplash organisers have apologised for cancelling reggae singer MATISYAHU’s performance at the festival and asked him back.

The Jewish-American singer was withdrawn from the bill after he refused to share his views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

MATISYAHU, who said the pressure from the organisers to air his views had been “appalling and offensive”, has not confirmed whether he will accept the offer.
