Jamaican reggae legends JUNIOR REID, BIG YOUTH and HALF PINT are among the latest acts confirmed for this year’s One Love Festival in the UK.

Erin MacLeod, writing for The Guardian, has revealed her latest playlist featuring the best reggae, dancehall and soca of 2015.

According to this list Jamaicans still rule the roost with PROTOJE’s “Answer To Your Name”, “Well Done” by KABAKA PYRAMID and a big track by imprisoned dancehall star VYBZ KARTEL.

Jamaican artist and producer KABAKA PYRAMID has added a show in Sheffield to his upcoming UK tour.

The Sheffield show takes place on 5 November and also features performances by YT and CONGO NATTY, among others.

Jamaican acts KABAKA PYRAMID and LADY SAW are among the featured artists on this month’s Guardian reggae playlist.

The reggae and dancehall playlist, selected by Erin MacLeod, also features two big soca tracks by PETER RAM and IMANI.

Erin MacLeod, writing for The Guardian newspaper, has put out a new reggae, dancehall and soca playlist featuring tracks from KABAKA PYRAMID and VYBZ KARTEL.

The latest selection also features Ghanaian reggae from ROCKY DAWUNI and top soca from DESTRA and LEAD PIPE & SADDIS.

Erin MacLeod has selected for The Guardian newspaper five of the islands’ 2014 ‘earworm rhythms’.

The list features 1980s dancehall revivalists NOTIS & IBA MAHR featuring TARRUS RILEY, dancehall sensation GULLY BOP otherwise known as COUNTRY MAN, rasta-inspired bashment artist KABAKA PYRAMID, and some soca from OLATUNJI and FAY-ANN LYONS.
