Glastonbury Festival resale tickets go on sale

Resale tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2016 go on sale at 9am today (17 April).

In order to purchase cancelled/refunded tickets, priced at £228, ticket buyers must have been registered beforehand to be eligible. 

Registration is now closed.

Glastonbury Festival takes place on 22-26 June at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

MADNESS reveals Clapham Common show

London ska band MADNESS will play a big show on Clapham Common this summer.

The one-day ‘House of Common’ event takes place on the August bank holiday on 29 August.

The band will be joined by 20 like-minded bands and DJs, hand-picked by the band themselves.

MADNESS to headline Fairport's Cropredy Convention

British ska band MADNESS will headline the first night at Fairport's Cropredy Convention this summer.

French ska and reggae band BABYLON CIRCUS will also make an appearance at the festival, which takes place on 11-13 August.

In 2012 MADNESS put out an album called Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da on the Lucky 7 label.

MADNESS to headline Belladrum 2016

London ska band MADNESS will headline the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in 2016.

The big festival takes place on 4-6 August 2016 at the Belladrum Estate in Beauly, Scotland.

For the second year running there will be an option to buy three-day tickets priced at £137 to include a programme of artists on the main stage on the Thursday night, in addition to the traditional two day tickets.

Live review: MADNESS at the County Ground

London ska legends MADNESS stopped in Bristol last week for an epic performance at the County Ground.

The show featured on the final leg of the band’s Grandslam Tour of major sporting venues around the UK.

Unfortunately the home of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club suffered poor sound quality and a lack of atmosphere on the night, but that didn’t stop thousands of ska nuts enjoying this rare occasion in the city.

MADNESS confirm UK racecourse tour dates

British ska revivalists MADNESS have announced a run of racecourse shows across the UK in support of their latest album Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da.

The band will perform a series of concerts around racecourses as well as a show at Northampton County Cricket Ground and their own House of Fun Weekender at Butlin's in Minehead.

MADNESS reveals new album details: ‘Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da’

The 10th studio album from ska legends MADNESS, Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da, will be released on 29 October.

The first single from the new record will be “My Girl 2” – out on 22 October – and follows “Death Of A Rude Boy”, which was released as a free download last month. 

The artwork for the new LP has been designed by Sir Peter Blake, who designed THE BEATLES' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band sleeve.

British ska legends MADNESS have joined the line-up for this year's iTunes Festival with support from REVEREND AND THE MAKERS.

The band will headline London's Roundhouse on 27 September joining the likes of EXAMPLE, LABRINTH and DJ FRESH in playing the month-long series of shows.
