Top reggae and dub acts revealed for Solfest

DREADZONE and ZION TRAIN are among the first acts confirmed for Solfest which returns to Cumbria this summer.

Solfest, which also includes RESONATORS and IRATION STEPPAS, takes place on the bank holiday over 26-28 August at Tarnside Farm near Aspatria. 

Tickets are priced from £89 for the weekend.

RESONATORS line up Trinity show in Bristol

Nine-piece reggae band RESONATORS will be putting on a full live show in Bristol later this month at the Trinity Centre.

The show takes place on 28 November and tickets are priced at just £10 in advance.

MISTY IN ROOTS reveals show in Brighton

Following a sold out gig last year Southall roots reggae band MISTY IN ROOTS has announced a show at the Concorde 2 in Brighton this summer.

The gig takes place on 11 July with tickets priced at £14.50 in advance.

LEE PERRY and DAVID RODIGAN head up Fred Perry Sub-Sonic Live

Fred Perry’s Sub-Sonic Live returns to London later this year with a special night featuring LEE "SCRATCH" PERRY and curated by DAVID RODIGAN.

The show takes place on 10 October at The Garage in London with a limited number of tickets available at £5. Fans can also enter a prize-draw to win a pair of tickets.

SOOTHSAYERS, RESONATORS and CHANNEL ONE line up big London show

Two of the finest live reggae outfits in the UK, RESONATORS and SOOTHSAYERS, will meet face-to-face with the mighty CHANNEL ONE SOUNDSYSTEM, WRONGTOM and MARK SOLUTION for a one-off night at the Village Underground in London.

The Soundcrash show takes place on 4 October and promises to deliver an amalgamation of soul, ska, funk, and afrobeat with dub reggae as the unifying force inside the East London venue.

The line-up for the Green Man Festival in Wales can now be revealed including reggae/dub acts SOLO BANTON, BABYHEAD and RESONATORS.

The eleventh Green Man Festival takes place at Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys over the weekend of 15-18 August.
