PROTOJE to play Reading and Leeds Festivals

Jamaican musician PROTOJE will perform at the Reading and Leeds festivals later this summer.

Over the August bank holiday the festivals will also feature reggae DJ DAVID RODIGAN and dub metal band SKINDRED, among many others.

SKINDRED singer slashed in hometown

Benji Webbe, the frontman of Welsh reggae metal band SKINDRED, has been attacked with broken glass in his hometown.

In the early hours of Saturday morning (30 January) the singer suffered cuts to his throat and face after leaving a party in Newport.

Welsh ragga metal band SKINDRED has announced a one-off event next year called the 'Newport Helicop-Tour' with special guests THE BLACKOUT.

The big gig takes place on 8 March 2014 at Newport Centre in South Wales and more guests are expected to be announced shortly.

SKINDRED reveals Kill The Power tour dates

British ragga metal band SKINDRED has launched the campaign for its new album Kill the Power on DoubleCross Records with the announcement of an 11-date UK tour.

The South Wales group delivers a unique blend of rock, metal, reggae, roots and dub, and will release Kill The Power in early 2014.

SKINDRED live at the O2 Academy in Bristol

Welsh ‘ragga punk metal’ band SKINDRED performed in Bristol last night (14 April) to a sold out crowd at the O2 Academy.

Fan-filmed video of the band performing “Ratrace” and “Pressure” live on the final night of the Jagermeister Music Tour 2012 can be viewed below.

British ragga metal band SKINDRED will next month headline a five-date tour of the UK next month on the Jägermeister Music Tour.

The innovative group will be joined by alternative rock band THERAPY? with more acts still to be announced.

Reggae acts added to UK surf/skate festival

EASY STAR ALL-STARS and SKINDRED have been added to the line-up of the Relentless Boardmasters festival in Cornwall, England.

Other reggae-associated acts confirmed for the surfing and skating event include DUB THE EARTH and GENTLEMAN'S DUB CLUB, mixed in with previously announced headliners FATBOY SLIM and KLAXONS.
