Legendary ska band THE TOASTERS performed live at the Fleece in Bristol last Wednesday (18 July) to a decent mid-week turnout of fans. Amateur video footage of part of the show is available below.
The 'third wave' US ska pioneers have been out on the road celebrating their 30th anniversary with shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and the Wickerman Festival, among others.
The current ‘international all-stars’ line-up of THE TOASTERS includes new faces from around Europe, brought together by original band member Robert Hingley.
The Bristol show was also something of a homecoming gig for the lead singer and guitarist who wasn’t afraid to nail his Westcountry colours to the mast.
As expected Bristol fans got to hear a good chunk of the band’s back catalogue including ska classics "2-Tone Army", "Shocker!", "Don't Let the Bastards Grind You Down" and "Weekend In L.A."
Support on the night came from MUFF SAID and MAD APPLE CIRCUS.
