The Guardian reveals Jamaican artists 'you need to know about now'

The UK’s Guardian newspaper has published an article called ‘Sounds of Jamaica: eight acts you need to know about now’.

The list includes:

  • ETANA - “the reggae-soul diva”
  • POPCAAN - “the rave king”
  • ROMAIN VIRGO - “voice of the struggle”
  • KONSHENS - “the adaptable singjay”
  • TARRUS RILEY - “the righteous Rastafarian”
  • PROTOJE - “a natty dread”
  • MAVADO - “the gully god”
  • NATALIE STORM - “XXX-rated”

Later this month a wide range of reggae artists and bands are set to perform in the UK as part of a series of shows at the IndigO2 in Greenwich.
