Dancehall DJ jailed in drugs case

Jamaican dancehall DJ FLIPPA MOGGELA has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for running a drugs operation.

The Kingston DJ, real name Andrew Davis and formerly known as FLIPPA MAFIA, pleaded guilty and will be eligible for parole in 12 years.

Davis ran the operation with his brother Kemar Davis shipping cocaine from California to New Jersey.

Kemar Davis was sentenced to 20 years in prison and their brother Roger Davis was also sentenced to 10 years.

According to the AP, Davis' attorney Robin Lord said the trial court had made errors that will result in the convictions being reversed.

In 2013 FLIPPA MOGGELA put out a single called "Hear Mi Hear".
