Reggae singer LLOYD BROWN and THE RIDDIMWORKS BAND will perform a special lovers rock show in Nottingham this year.
The ‘Roots Of Reggae: Lovers Rock’ night takes place on 21 October at the Nottingham Playhouse.
Early bird tickets are priced £15 and then £20 in advance.
On the night he will be supported by PAULETTE TAJAH and Nottingham’s LISA HENDRICKS and THE PROJECT-US BAND.
BROWN started his career in 1979 by deejaying in blues-dances before progressing on fully fledged sound systems in the early 1980s with London-based sound systems JAH MARCUS, EXODUS and EAST MAN.
He has since produced 20 albums and in 2013 put out an album called Rootical.
