THE SELECTER drops new album Subculture

Coventry 2Tone act THE SELECTER has released its brand new studio record Subculture.

The rhythm-packed album was recorded and produced by saxophonist Neil Pyzer and expertly mixed by PRINCE FATTY.

The 12-track album comes hot on the heels of the Made In Britain and String Theory albums since singer Pauline Black reformed the band five years ago.

The new record is packed with quality tracks co-penned with original members Black and Arthur “Gaps” Hendrickson.

Standout tracks include urban protest song "Breakdown" and PATTI SMITH cover “Because The Night”.

With Subculture THE SELECTER has once again proved its relevance and vibrancy in a social reality not much changed since the band’s inception 35 years ago.

THE SELECTER is on tour around the UK this winter.
