DAWN PENN live in Bristol: fan-filmed footage available

Jamaican rocksteady singer DAWN PENN performed in Bristol last night (11 May) at the Queen's Head, Lawrence Hill.

Here’s DAWN PENN singing the album track from her new record:

“You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)”

Bristol-based reggae artist TROY ELLIS, the son of legend ALTON ELLIS, made a seemingly impromptu performance before PENN’s headline slot - much to the delight of the hundred or so people crammed into the back room of the pub.

ELLIS will be performing live to celebrate the release of his new album at the Colston Hall on 30 June.

DAWN PENN recently released her autobiography ‘Story Of My Life’, which is available in e-book format here.

The description of the book is:

“I'm an international recording, singer, songwriter, musician from Jamaica - West Indies. I've been in the recording Industry for 44 years and I have written my autobiography and would like you to put the script in the format you know how.”

Both DAWN PENN and TROY ELLIS will be appearing at the One Love Festival in Kent from 10-12 August.
