JANET KAY & CARROLL THOMPSON announce Jazz Café dates

The queens of British lover’s rock, JANET KAY and CARROLL THOMPSON, have announced two new shows at the famous London venue in late December.

Tickets are priced at £19.50 and go on sale from today (9 August).

The new dates are

JANET KAY is best known for her hit single “Silly Games” which was released in 1979 and made her the first British black female reggae artist to top the UK pop charts.

She has since been a regular performer at the Jazz Café and is in the process of recording a new album.

THOMPSON’s singing career took off in 1981 when she had topped the reggae charts twice, with “I’m Sorry” and “Simply In Love”.

After recording duets with SUGAR MINOTT and TREVOR WALTERS she went on to perform and record more solo material.
