CHRISTOPHER ELLIS announces Jazz Café show

UK reggae artist CHRISTOPHER ELLIS will be back at the Jazz Café in late September following his sold out show there in 2012.

The Camden Town show takes place on 28 September with tickets priced at £12 in advance, on sale from 24 July.

ELLIS is a familiar face at the Jazz Café. From a young age he used to perform with his father, the ‘King of Jamaican Rocksteady’ ALTON ELLIS

Since his last visit in September last year he has been awarded 'Best British Male Newcomer' at the Brit Reggae Awards, hosted his own show on BBC Radio 1Xtra and released “End of Time” and “Don’t Change Your Number” on the Ghetto Youths album Set Up Shop Volume 1.

Fresh from a tour of the US with the MARLEY brothers and the Ghetto Youths, the Londoner is looking forward to performing a more intimate gig.

“The Jazz Café is an important place to me. The audience can expect to hear favourites as well as new material I’ll be performing live for the first time in the UK,” ELLIS said.

In late July he is also set to release a new single, “Better than Love”, from his forthcoming EP.
