Wray & Nephew to host Jamaica Rum Tings in London

Iconic white rum Wray & Nephew will next month host the Jamaica Rum Tings takeover of the Britannia pub in East London.

The ‘Wray’s Tavern’ event takes place on 3 August for one day only in the build-up to Jamaican independence day on 6 August.

The day kicks off at 2pm and the mighty TROJAN SOUND SYSTEM will be tracing Jamaican music's journey from ska to roots, rocksteady and dancehall.

As night falls, headliners EARL GATESHEAD and DADDY AD take charge of the selection, while the crowds can expect red hot toasting from SUPERFOUR, CHUCKY BANTAN and JAH BUCK.

Winstan Whitter will also be exhibiting his photography documenting the journey of Dalston's famed Four Aces nightclub at its peak - arguably the beating heart of East London's musical life.
