LONDON INTL SKA FESTIVAL teams up with SPECIALIZED

The London International Ska Festival has teamed up with the Specialized charity project and will be donating £10 from every four-day festival ticket sold this month.

Last year THE SPECIALS-inspired charity project raised more than £25,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

This year Specilized launches its second campaign ‘Beat Teenage Cancer’, which is based around the songs of seminal ska band THE BEAT.

The project centres on a BEAT tribute album featuring all the bands' classics, a run of UK shows and closes with a three-day extravaganza at Parkdean Sandford on 8-10 November.

Artists already signed up include: ED ROME, BOMBSKARE, THE VALUES featuring NEOL DAVIES (THE SELECTER), THE TALKS, DUB PISTOLS, DAVE HILLYARD (THE SLACKERS), ROBB JOHNSON and THE IRREGULARS, RHODA DAKAR and PHILL JUPITUS, ERIN BARDWELL COLLECTIVE, DUBTONIK featuring CHARLEY ANDERSON (THE SELECTER), BUFORD O’SULIVAN and many more.

The London International Ska Festival takes place on 28-31 March featuring 50 acts over 12 world-beating events, with tickets priced at £120.
