FRANZ JOB puts out new EP: ‘Rebel Lover Boy’

London-based reggae singer FRANZ JOB will next week drop a brand new EP Rebel Lover Boy, available as a digital download.

JOB has teamed up with Necessary Mayhem-producer Curtis Lynch on the new five-track record.

Earlier this year he delivered two riddims produced by Lynch - the MR. WILLIAMZ duet “Viva Marijuana” on the Gorilla riddim and “Special Lover” on the Pass the Kutchie/Full Up riddim.

His debut studio album Babylon Is Dead was released in September 2009 and included dub mixes from Dougie Conscious.

Raised both in London and Trinidad’s smaller sister island Tobago, the singer cites his influences as THE WAILERS, THE ROOTS, THE FUGEES and “all other pioneers of important music”.
