The Story of Lover’s Rock: find out where to see the new film

A new feature documentary charting the growth of British reggae music in the 1970s and 1980s will be hitting cinemas across the UK later this week.

The new film comes with the strapline: "The secret world of a generation in the 1970's and the birth of a reggae genre"

The ground-breaking movie, directed and produced by Menelik Shabazz, includes performances from MAXI PRIEST, UB40, ASWAD, JANET KAY, SUGAR MINOTT and CARROLL THOMPSON; as well as interviews with LINTON KWESI JOHNSON, TIPPA IRIE and DENNIS BOVELL.
