The murder trial of Jamaican dancehall artist VYBZ KARTEL - and co-accused Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald - has been postponed until December.

As reported on Caribbean360, the trial was scheduled to get underway in the Home Circuit on 30 October, but was rescheduled to 3 December as the prosecution said it was not ready.
The three men are facing charges in relation to the murder of Barrington “Bossie” Bryan in July 2011.
The singer, real name Adidja Palmer, has been in prison since September 2011, and is also being held on a second murder charge which is scheduled to go to trial later this month.
Palmer will stand trial for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams alongside Calvin Hay, Shawn “SHAWN STORM” Campbell, Andre St John, Kahira Jones and Shane Williams.
He will also be tried, along with Vanessa “GAZA SLIM” Saddler and Andre “PIM-PIM” Henry, in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on 12 November on a charge of “perverting the course of justice” in relation to the Williams murder.
