MISTY IN ROOTS live: band unveils new UK dates

Roots reggae band MISTY IN ROOTS has announced a run of live performances in the UK as part of their ‘Respect Due’ tour.

The Southall-based reggae pioneers emerged in the early 1970s and became one of the most popular English reggae bands alongside STEEL PULSE and ASWAD.

The ‘Respect Due’ tour kicks off at the end of the month and runs up until the end of October.

The 10-date tour includes:

  • 30 September - The Picket, Liverpool 
  • 1 October - The Cell B, Gwynedd
  • 2 October - The Cluny, Newcastle 
  • 7 October - African & Caribbean Centre, Glasgow
  • 8 October - The Wardrobe, Leeds 
  • 14 October - Fiddlers Club, Bristol 
  • 21 October - Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal 
  • 22 October - Band on the Wall, Manchester
  • 28 October - Phoenix Art Centre, Exeter
  • 29 October - Rich Mix, London

The band’s most recent studio effort was Roots Controller that the band released in 2002 on Real World Records.

According to the MISTY IN ROOTS website, the current line-up includes:
